James Memorial Art Center is an educational facility that has been serving the community of Williston since 1909. Its establishment started with eight women who petitioned to have a library in the town. In 1993, it was transformed into a visual arts center. Now, it serves as the venue for many art classes for all ages. It also holds regular arts festival that showcases live entertainment, artists’ demonstration, and art auctions.

Aside from this arts center, another cultural attraction in the town is the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center, which features exhibits about the history, geology, and geography of the region. Tourists can also go to the Fort Buford State Historic Site, which showcases the life of those who were in the army. For a quiet afternoon stroll, visitors can drop a visit to Harmon Park.
