Andi Jemma Airport – MXB Masamba

Andi Jemma Airport is a public airport located at the Masamba-Celebes Island, the capital city of North Luwu Regency in the province of South Sulawesi particularly on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. It is owned and run by the Indonesian government, under its airport operating body, Unit Penyelenggara Bandar. It is called as Bandara Andi Jemma in Indonesian. The airport serves the city of Masamba and is the most important airport in the city.

Andi Jemma Airport is a one of the modern operating airports in Asia and also one of the largest. It has a single runway measuring 2,953 feet by 75 feet. The airport handles airlines such as Sabang Merauke Raya Air Charter and Susi Air and serves routes in Palu, Bua, Makassar, Rampi and Seko. The airport was recently renovated in 2016 offering and expanded terminal building from 240 square meters to 400 square meters. It has a new and modern architectural design. It also offers an enhanced process in both check-in and baggage claim counters. It is operational from Monday to Saturday only. The airport also has accessibility for wheelchairs and children’s strollers.
